Professionals working with young people across Cleveland have received specialist training to help identify stalking behaviours in teenagers.
The sessions were funded by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and delivered by Alice Ruggles Trust and Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust, bringing together practitioners to build knowledge of how stalking can present in adolescence and how to respond effectively.
The training focused on recognising early warning signs, understanding the impact on victims, and supporting young people who may be displaying harmful behaviours. It also encouraged stronger multi-agency working to ensure risks are identified and addressed at the earliest opportunity.
